The Association provides to its members the possibility of providing the housing for the dogs during the summer o winter vacation, or any other situations in which the owner is unable to care for his/her dog.  

The pansion for dogs is located on the farm of the Èaiæ family, cca 10 km outside of Karlovac, in the village Tomašnica, in beautiful, pristine nature, in quiet, pure and unpolluted environment.  

It consists of 16 roofed boxes with wooden peet houses, it has electricity, water and video surveillance, several fenced yards with the natural grass and tress, in which the dogs can run and play.  

There is also a special yard for the puppies and young dogs which can learn to overcome various obstacles (according to their age), and to practice agility, which is very important for continuance of all kinds of trainings.

Here the puppies can learn for the first time to walk through the tunnels, to jump over obstacles, to climb, to walk on the log, on the slippery and noisy surfaces. In such way, they develop intelligence and conditional reflexes.  

All dogs in pansion go to the yards twice a day, and to the walks in the nature with the handler, also twice a day. The dogs who are companiable and not aggressive can spend almost the whole day in the yards if they are interested for playing with other «guests».  

«Belligerent» dogs spend time in the yards alone, under the watchful eye of the staff.  

Since the owners of the farm live in the family house on the farm, the dogs are being watched 24 hours a day.  

The condition for the right for the use of the pansion is the membership in the association «Optimus Vita», healthy dog with regular vaccination, and protection against the ticks and other skin parasites.  

The fee for the use of the pansion is paid to the association, and is determined for every dog on individual basis, depending upon the requested conditions, size of the dog, food, treatment during the stay, and also the length of the stay, as well as the period of the membership in association and activity in the association  

The most expensive variant costs 80 kn (new member – big dog – several days – 3 walks a day)  

Vet surveillance is agreed upon with the Vet station Karlovac, Ambulance for the small animals dr. Bulat, and Vet ambulance «PET PLUS».  

In special situations, we have the possibility to transport the dogs to the Veterinarian Faculty in Zagreb, or to your chosen ambulance.
